Hey all, I am looking for input from anyone with more knoweledge than myself. What is the prefered wing material for a clipped wing Cub? I am building experimental so there are no restrictions. I just really want to know the pros and cons of each. Weight, strength, ect.ect.. I will be putting fuel tanks in the wings if that is a factor to be considered. The wings will also be attatched outboard of the fuselage (PA-18 style). From what I read here already I really want to keep the plane light. Your input is highly regarded.
That auction in N.Y. is the same weekend I get home from Iraq, do you think the wife would understand? Regards, Dana LaBounty
