When I bought my J3 project it came with a damaged front wing strut ,which was sealed and had the heavy fork. The wings are metal spar and have Nav lights installed and already had a fresh covering. Before I order a new front wing strut from Univair I need to confirm the remaining good struts are actually J3 and not PA-11 or PA-18. Anyone know how to tell the difference if there are any? The wings and struts came unattached to the bare fuselage. The remaining good struts are all of the sealed type with the heavy fork.
