Hello, I just purchased my first J3 Cub.
I'm concerned about a ground adjustable elevator trim tab that has been bolted into the elevator. During the pre buy the mechanic said that it is not original to the airplane and should probably be removed.
I have been searching online to see if any J3s have these or there is a mod out there.
Any suggestions on this one? I have not picked up the airplane yet and want to make sure it is good to go.
