I ground looped my PA-11 back in March at an airport with no services 2.5 hours flying time, 5 hours driving time away and due to my mom breaking her hip and my wife breaking her arm the same week, I was unable to employ my normal method of disassembly and transport of the airplane to the repair shop.

The insurance company instead paid an aircraft transport company to transport the plane. The repair shop was just getting started on the wing tip repair when the found the aileron damaged, needing replacement and possible rear spar damage.

I am upset as I transported the plane 3 years ago from Lubbock TX to Lancaster CA without damaging any part of the airplane. With this new damage, it will probably go over what the insurance will cover.
