My A&P and I can't figure this out. I have a Maule pneumatic tailwheel on the Cub with the Maule anti-shimmy connector springs (left lighter than the right). Recently the plane has developed a shimmy that does not happen all the time. We have checked the alignment of the tailwheel, tightened bolts, put on a new tire, etc and the shimmy persists. At times it is pretty bad.

Any ideas?

Craig
