Today was a beautiful high pressure day, so I was able to fly for the third day in a row; that makes every day this year!

I decided to go west towards the higher ridges and look for snow. All I found was the snow-machine snow at Bryce Resort, VA, where I took the "no-snow" pictures in October. OK, don't laugh. I'm sure to many of you this isn't much at all, but it was a beautiful flight and a nice landing at Sky Bryce Airport in the little valley, and I really enjoyed the day. The following shows the contrast.

And here is why they are called the Blue Ridge Mountains

Now, I know a lot of you have flown this year, and many of you have lots of snow, so how about some real snow pictures, even if from the ground?
