I have disassembled my landing gear on my PA11 project. One of the short shock struts is bent, so I have decided to replace. I notice inside the slot a moving part as well as two "bumpers". The question is; is it possible to replace the moving parts in the one I am going to keep? Sorry, I don't know the real names of the internal parts. I can't see any way to remove the old parts for new. I see that new replacement parts are available. The other parts of the strut are straight, I guess someone used the bent strut to save a few bucks s long time ago.
