Hello,
Living here in Witten/Germany, operating a 1946 J3C. Love the aircraft and sometimes need parts to keep it alive.
Last year I ordered some spareparts from WagAero, and was totally flashed when I got the costs for shipping to europe.
Now I´m interested in a Tailwheel spacer U1478A-000 Univair offers for the price of 90 $.
Price is ok, but the shipping costs starting at 150$ and end up at 250$.
It´s a tiny part that fits in an Envelop, what´s the reason for the high shipping costs?
Any idea, how I can find a more satisfactory way to get this item for a price that is acceptable?
