I just got my seat back from CC to my A&P today...between being gone, the changed plans on the recall, and misunderstandings on the seat recall...I haven't flown in a month.

I was shocked when I lifted the seat....it is really heavy. In an aircraft where weight is so critical, I am honestly surprised. Does any one know if this is the same seat in a S-2? After lifting my seat, I picked up a new Oregon Aero seat and almost hit myself in the chin with it. The weight comes from the heavy plastic .... man I wish they could figure a way around that extra weight. Really looking forward to getting the seat in and going flying again.....I miss it. Ralph
