Registration lapsed?

In the beginning if you forgot to register you were down for six weeks while OKC pretended to shuffle paper. Our instructional bird lapsed Feb 1. The owner mailed it in two days late. Anybody have recent experience with lapsed triennial registration? Am I down for a month and a half?
