I just received my new McCauley 1b90/CM7144 propeller.
I didn’t realize they now come with 2 holes facing out and exposed, even after the nose cone is in place. Then there are 2 smaller holes and each side of the prop hub.
I called McCauley and they said they were for balancing the prop.
I think it makes the prop look bad.
Has anyone else recently come across this issue?
There’s no option to hide or cover these glaring holes…or are there?
