I have an L4 that I brought back to life after 25 years of hanger time. After new struts new engine and such, it purrs. At least when the prop gods are on my side!! Lately the old gauges are starting to die out. Altimeter went first now the tach. I am looking at replacing all of them along with a new instrument panel. I looked at Clydes Smith page and noticed that there is a special panel that has a overlay on it for all but the oil gauges. Any body know why it is used? Anybody know of a source for Cubby gauges?

billp in seattle.
