Is there a source for NOS on these?
It is a 2 pc unit with a top which mounts to the carb with an Alum spacer. This has a formed channel on both sides where the bottom box portion slides into with the filter being vertical.
There is a 3/4" dia steel tube brazed onto the bottom as a drain/hot air discharge.
Around the 3/4" tube there is a great deal of cracks.
Is there someone known for repairing this type of air box in the L-4 community?
I currently lack a IPC for the O-170 so I don't have a part number.
