This guy apparently survived beeing shot down in his L-4 by a FW 190 during WW 2 in Germany.

If anyone knows who he is I think he deserves some recognition and credit for his service and courage. I've recently had the pleasure of talking to Joe Gordon, an L-4 driver and who had the "pleasure" of beeing shot down twice in his L-4. More on that later.
