L-4 A65 rocker covers

Guys,

I have heavy cast/machined rocker covers on my A65 cylinders - they are chromed and came with the aircraft - I apologise outright
Would the original 1942-45 era covers have been light pressed steel (painted black) and if so, are this type of covers still available?
