Hello everyone. I am currently looking to get a Cub or one that is close to it. I am in no way making the big bucks, but understand that many people own airplanes that also do not make the big bucks. I am just wondering how everyone bought their first plane. I figure a plane around $35,000 - $40,000 is doable and would just like more info, tips, etc. It is obviously more involved than buying a car.

I have a few more months until I return home from my last tour here in Afghanistan, and am looking to land a job that allows me to fly low and slow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very respectfully,
Derek
