I recently purchase a C85-12 with a starter. The best I can figure, I will need to add an inch or so of exhaust tubing on both side of my manifold. Is there such a thing as pipes made for a -12 to fit a cub or a better way than buying 4 thousand dollars worth of new exhaust pipes and then cutting them to add an extension to make room for the starter? If I take off the starter and cover the hole with a plate will my old exhaust work? If so, where can I get a plate to cover the starter hole?
