With temps in the 70-80's in the California's Northstate I opened the door/window in flight. The additional drag effect
was noticeable; fuel burn was up very slightly. Flying in the Northstate definitely involves density altitude and mountain
flying. How are devoted open window/door pilots modifying their practice to address density altitude conditions?
