Recently replaced my A-65 air box and filter assy because I discovered cracks in the old one. Cub was missing support bracket and lead to fatigue cracking.
I shot peened the air box and it’s ready to weld. Just never got around to finding a welder and bought a new one because I wanted to fly!
Air box is definitely repairable, just need to know how to weld or have a friend who can. Bracket air filter BA4106 and new filter will be included in sale.
My new filter assy and air box cost $1k from Univair. Ouch $$
Asking $350 for the set and will include shipping to Continental USA in that cost.
