On Page 7 of the new EAA magazine there is an ad for the "new" Piper Sport (Which is the old Czech Sport Cruiser). The Piper Sport is framed by what I guess is supposed to be a Piper Cub, as they have used a J3 in their other ads. First off, the Cub has a balanced elevator, which could make it a PA18, but if you look closely at the tail brace wire attach point it looks like the one CC uses on the Sport Cub, which incorporates the brace wire attachment into the hinge. It's hard to tell, but the aileron looks like it is metal also. Another attribute of the Sport Cub.

What do you detectives think?
