A problem has been developing with my carb heat cable and I wonder if anyone else has had similar problems and what did they do about it? The problem I'm having is when my engine gets up to normal temperature the carb heat will not remain at full on. It slips to the off position and I have to pull it on again. I've looked at the boden cable and it appears fine and operates ok on the ground. Anyone have suggestions? The simple thing would be to replace it, but if there is anything else, I'd like to hear it. I've thought maybe squeezing the sheath part of the cable might put a little more friction in, but I don't know. Thanks in advance for the help.
