If a mechanic were to state this as it relates to new Superior cylinders that were installed on a C85 stroker build...can you help me understand exactly what he's referring to. It's one of several bullet point notes he made for my personal reference to help me understand work he'd done during the build.

"4 Stud Assy - New - Removed Middle Springs & Remarked for 0200"

I think I understand it and believe I've found a reference or two in previous Google searches but I'm coming up blank currently. I "think" this is related to C90 cylinders that were converted to 0200 with the removal of a 3rd spring to take it to a 2 spring configuration? At least that's what I think I recall from the couple previous searches.

Appreciate any insight.
