I am about ready to install floor boards and may do it so they can be removed from the top. But I have read a a few comments about brake reinforcement channel. I have the drawing for the channel but am unsure how it is installed or even if it is required. If anyone has a picture it would help.
I purchased the boards and they came with the square cut out on the centreline aft of the forward rudder pedals same as what the aircraft had previously. There are two about six inch pieces of channel that bolt and screw across this opening. Is there a purpose for these or just more reinforcement?

Thanks
