Quick survey, please. I'm going to fabricate a new boot cowl using Clyde Smith's firewall with the aft-facing flange. What alloy and thickness do you think works best? Clyde recommends .025 3003H-14 in his workshop. I cannot find it in that thickness, but it is available in .032. I'm looking for good work-ability but not too easily dented. I also plan to make the various fairings from the same sheet. I would also be curious to know what WA or U uses in their products, if anyone happens to know.

This forum is awesome. Thanks!
