Just ordered a pair, in hopes of preserving the wheel pant attach points and still being able to install hubcaps on our J4.

Did not fit. Wrong threads. But surprise - they do fit the J3 gear legs.

What am I missing here? Piper used two different thread pitches on its 8:00x4 axles?
