Hello everyone,

Hoping you are fine. I am new to the group and recently acquired a J3 Cub with A65. My oil pressure in flight is always at 45 or a little above (photo) and 40 at idle. In summer is maybe a few degress less, but its more or less like that always. It seems to be a little high. It is an engine with 350 smoh, and those hours were done in 20 years, that is, it flew very little.
I am going to check with another instrument to rule out that it is not an instrument error. What are your opinions regarding that pressure? What are the cons of operating the engine like this? What are your suggestions?

Thank you in advance

Martin
