Altimeter failed yesterday in the instructional Cub. I will probably send it to Rudy for an overhaul, but there are a few on eBay that might work for half the price.
The problem is that the Cub cannot accept an altimeter longer than about four inches from faceplate to rear. The AN 5760-4B is one Iam looking at, but it’s specs say length is 4.8” or so.
So the question: does that include the knob? If not, what should I be looking for?
