Hi All,

I've owned my Cub now for almost 2 years, and will soon be coming up on the 2nd annual inspection under my ownership. My A&P would like to 'get the play out' of the horizontal stab. mechanism this year, and I'm wondering what is the 'normal' or acceptable play in this area? If I gently wiggle/lift the front of the horizontal stabilizer, I get about 1/8" of movement. I was told during my Cub transition training that this amount of play is perfectly normal. So, how much, if any, should the front of the horizontal stab. move when gently lifted up and down?

Thanks,

John
