I have been redoing this airplane for 2 years now - almost done (had some basic t-storm wind damage years ago). Test flights completed (4 hours of flying) and it needs a few odds and ends done to it. Moving and can't have 2 planes anymore. See ad text and link:

MAKE OFFER!! Airplane currently flies. Needs a few things done to it - perfect for someone handy with tools and looking to get a discount.Moving out of state and would like to sell before moving. Make offer! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. No, I haven't done a weight and balance. Piper J-3 Cub - C-85-12 engine (139 SMOH), 1990 heavy duty Ceconite recover (also fuel tank, control cables, floorboards in 1990). Overhauled carburetor (new float, inlet metering jet, idle jet), new windshield, new metal gascolator, new instrument panel, shielded ignition, new rings and seals on 2 cyl, like new exhaust stack right side, complete logbooks, rejuvenated and repainted fabric surfaces, painted all metal surfaces (boot cowl, cowling, struts, etc), 2 sealed struts. What needs to be done: spot weld on upper door hinge. Add 1" extension to exhaust pipe for better long term seal. Replace one exhaust flange stud, replace tail wheel springs, paint ferring strip and install (new, unpainted piece provided - old one doesn't look so hot). We have flown the aircraft on a number of occasions and are in the final processes of refining punch list items and moving is taking precedence.
