Just purchased a barn find J4E that was disassembled in the the late 1950's and shuffled around the NW from owner to owner with little to no work ever being done.
N35979, Serial #4-1459, born on 4/8/1941, Continental A-75-9. 960 TT!
We are hoping to do a historic restoration keeping it as close as we can the way it came from the factory.
The panel will need a bit of work, we hope to find or repair all the instruments. Interesting to find the data plate in one of the two glove boxes.
