I purchased a 1946 J3C-65 with a recently overhauled engine. The breather tube that's installed is a flexible black hose running from the engine out the bottom of the cowl. Looking at the engine install drawing they show a part 84332. Univair carries this U84332. Is the flexible tube acceptable/permitted? Or do I need to replace it with the Univair part which appears to be aluminum?

This is my first aircraft and I've yet to fly it yet other than a test flight. It's too cold to fly right now because of the break-in oil.
