Embarking on another Cub project and have a question: It’s to be an all wood wing and I‘m toying with the idea of using 1/16” mahogany ply to cover the leading edge. I’ll recess a full length 1/2” x 5/8” strip in the leading edge of the rib nose pieces to create a glue zone. Will the spruce strip allow removal of the false nose pieces? I built a Hatz a few years back with 12” spacing on the ribs and their plans included such a scenario. No false nose pieces. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
Sarpy Sam
