Have two wood spar wings with new spars ready to cover but need help. The center aileron brackets have the small top aileron cable guide welded to it, but it is off to one side. They are left and right and cannot be reversed, otherwise when you try to install the cable, it absolutely won't work and it is near impossible to change the bracket after the wing is covered. My question, just to make sure, is does the welded bracket face toward the butt rib (inside) or toward the tip (outside)? I think they go on the inside but I want to make sure before I install the fabric. The parts manual doesn't clearly show it. If you have a wood spar wing already covered, you can just look into the teardrop fairing and see. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
