Here is a question for the Restorers, A&P's, AI's, Engineers, etc ....

Q1: When placing ribs built from wood onto a wood spar, should the ribs be glued into position onto the spar or can they simply be nailed/tacked to the spar to hold their position without gluing before covering?

Q2: Does gluing ribs to the wood spar add strength to the wing vs, just nailing?
