wiring diagram for the magnito switch?

Can not speak through my radio with the engine running without noise at the receiver.

I do not have shielded lead wires and plan to order some. I assume I should replace all three wires, not just the ground. How much should I order as in feet?

F/U what is the best way to tightend the ends, how much wire should be visible and should the shield area be touching the attach point too? Use heat shrink at any portion?

I have the old key switch, I will have to remove it to read how it is labled but assume one goes to one mag, one the other, and one to a ground?
