Fellow Cub lovers,
Happy holidays. The weather has been very cold these past few weeks. I have gotten the Red Dragon out here is a link to the Red Dragon Heater's website: (http://www.flameengineering.com/Engine_Preheaters.htm). The FBO gave me a stern warning as one of the guys started a hanger fire with one a few years back. He said it took out a section of "T" hangers with aircraft. Needless to say be careful and preheat outside the hanger. And never leave a flame type preheater unattended. I can only imagine how fast a Cub would go up in flames if left unattended.
I am curious how many of us snow bunnies preheat? How many of us that do not preheat have not had any engine performance related issues?
