Saturday while cleaning the Cub I found some weird rippling and striations on the leading edge of my right wing. The only demanding flying that it’s been subject to is Commercial maneuvers back in May for a checkride. It’s flown a few times since and was fine before those flights.
It has been pretty hot (80s-90s for a lot of the summer with 60-70% humidity). The airplane is hangared but not temp controlled. The cub fabric is old (1980s restoration and no markings on the fabric leads me to believe it’s Grade A cotton).
Any experience with what could be going on? My IA is going to be making a trip up to check it out but in the mean time Im curious to see what other experience people have to say.
