Dan Ward is doing the repairs. Check out the pics on Wardaero.com under "J-5 Repair." It has the stroked 85HP and I hope to have it in WV by fall. It was a complete restoration and won "Judges Choice", at 2010 Sentimental Journey. Following that it was involved in a ground loop and I bought all of the big chunks from the owner.

Then the issue is going to be what to do with the 65HP J-3. I flew the J-3 three time today including a short flight over to the mountain top grass strip at Rainelle WV. Come to think of it I did the same thing Friday and hope to get a few flights in Sunday. I am blessed as our little field is half way between my office and my home and the grueling commute from home to office is 1.5 miles. I turn downwind over my office and turn base over my house.

BTW I need a Jasco alternator, as it got dinged when the cowl was crushed.
