Hi guys, need your help again. working on a J3 that has a c90 ( with starter + battery) and two 18 gallon wing tanks.

I weighed the acft to confirm numbers of 897.8 empty weight.

the owner is 220lbs,acft placarded for solo front only,I did the math for pilot flying front and rear

working out the w&b , I can get the airplane within limits cg wise but over gross it with full fuel. using 1220 as max wt as written on the stc

I did a search and see other posts about a similar acft flying. is he flying over gross, or is there another higher gross wt number that I havent found yet?

I know it will fly with two people because he's done it, not to say it was within limits for the gross wt. thanks for the input
