I have unshielded mags and use the Sporty’s PJ2+. Is there any point to installing a VHF-5T flat antenna while my plane gets some work done? I can already hear surprisingly well but transmit is very limited. Will moving the antenna rearward make any difference? Right now I’m using a suction cup antenna
by the baggage compartment.
