It's too cold for me to fly today in New York, but still thinking about flying...

I was just wondering about the trim system. On some planes (e.g Cirrus SR22) the trim just adjusts the neutral position of the stick, so that less control force is necessary. On the Cub, the trim adjusts the entire vertical stab. In order to land at the slowest airspeed/highest angle of attack, is it necessary to have full up trim on the Cub ? Or put another way, will the plane fly any differently with full back stick depending on the position of the trim ?

Does the trim on the Cub change the effect of full back (or foward) stick or does it just make it easier to hold these positions ?
