2 December- (65th AFA Bn.) L-4 43-29629 (59-I), which was being flown by Lt White when a ‘friendly’ 155mm shell passed through it, was brought in for major repairs. 43-30495 was assigned as a replacement from the Army Pool.

Friendly? Maybe it smiled as it went through? At least it didn't burst!
