What am I doing wrong? J-3, C90-12F, original tach that yawl are accustomed to. See picture. To get the tach to fit due to tank clearance, it needs the 90 on it. See picture. My plight. Evidently there is a left and a right cable. With the set up I have currently, which cable do I want? Also, with the 90 degree elbow, does that reverse the cable direction? The cable I put in initially I started the engine, and the end came off the cable. Unknown to me if I had the wrong direction of cable and the end just screwed off, or if I had the right cable and it just broke.

Please help!

Many Thanks,

Zach
