In looking at the forums for Super Cubs and J-3s, I'm noticing auxiliary baggage compartments on S-Cubs behind the rear seat, accessible via an outside hatch door. Some S-Cubs even have two separate compartments stacked on top of each other behind the rear seat. These compartments seam to be missing on J-3's and their clones.

My first thought in seeing a baggage area so far aft was W&B. I'm building a Wag - Sport Trainer with an O-200. Once flying, floats and skis will round out the retirement toy package.

If there is 20 pounds of available storage behind the seat, I need to reconsider that fishing rod holder and make an outside hatch door!
