I had my Stromberg overhauled about six months ago after noticing several parts where not correct for my 85hp installation.

The overhaul was done by Don Swords ( I'm aware of the other carb guys and their ability's! thanks) The correct manifold, carb parts and Delrin needle where installed and checked out fine. I noticed an intermittent drip after shutdown and called Don. He said I could send it back but thought it would stop after a "while". I hope this doesn't degrade into bashing anyone's abilities, I just want to get this fixed in the least painful and quickest way possible. I am aware that Don is no longer in business.

I currently use AV gas and non ethanol car gas depending on where I'm at and needs. I haven't taken any notes....could this make a difference with float or needle seat pressures? Haven't had any issues with any other planes under similar conditions.

My biggest concern is an intermittent condition at idle and taxi. You can see a little black puff of un burnt fuel at throttle increase . All other operations are normal.

Thanks, Kevin
