Hi Guys & fellow Cubbers,
this years South Swedish Vintage Fly-in 2-4 July 2010 will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the maiden flight of the J-2. Anyone close enough to join (it´s in Europe) is most wellcome! This year we hope to attract as many Cubs as possible. If you check out the flyer on the link below you can see that we actually hope to break a Guiness Record Cub formation-size!

Private pilot flying in Sweden was significantly boosted when 90 surplus Cubs, former US Army L-4s, were inported thus making affordable flying available to a wide range of pilots in clubs around the country. The South Swedish Vintage Flying Club was formed in the 90ies with the explicit goal of "Darkening the Sky with Cubs"! Restoring and maintaining Cubs, most of them from that surplus import in 1946, is a mainstay of the Clubs activities.
For Cubbers in Europe, check out www.flyin.se for updated information and info on how to get there.
