My research tells me that there has never been a fork that has failed or cracked on record. Seems the AD came out because of a strut failure at the other end. Was the forward strut to spar issue on a crop duster. I have sealed struts with the small rolled thread fork on my (j-3c90)forward struts only. Do replacement every 300 hours instead of the 500 hour requirement. Does anyone out there have a problem with this? Need comfort level from all the great smart heads on the wonderful web site. The 90 makes this go fast - stress up from old days 65. Safe flights all.
