Looking for info on fastening post war J3 skylight. My last Cub had two screws out in the middle of the skylight into the birdcage channels. Seemed to work fine. On my new project Cub I located two screws there , but in a slightly different location on the channels (don't know why I did it differently) . After 20 hours there are three cracks from each fastener hole. So, now I'm wondering what Piper originally did ? Anyone have an original document showing skylight fasteners ? I wonder if they are really necessary ? Thanks for any original info. !
