Just got my newsletter from SJ and it appears that the airport has leased 14 acres of what used to be the parking area south of the runway and east of the museum to a private company. On the map they provided it looks to be about sixty percent of the available parking area at least. They say they are going to provide enhanced transportation to the north side because they plan to park a significant number of planes on the north side from taxiway F on the west to taxiway B on the east.
