There are actually two grays shown in the photo, Sea Gray No.603 and Neutral Gray No. 43, I have a third Gray Light Gray No. 602 that I did not create a sample for because it was never called out in any tech orders with regard to L-3 and L-4 aircraft.
I can barely tell any difference between 43 and 602, the difference is more noticeable in the sun than shade. I don't think I have ever seen any Liaison aircraft painted with an under surface as dark as this actual Sea Gray. The top photo is bright sunlight, the 2nd is in shade.
Both of the grays shown have a lot of bluish tint to them and both in my opinion are quite dark. I am going to include Sea Gray 603 in the package and I intend to use it on my aircraft but will probably lighten it some.
